BATMAN MAQUETTES by corysmithart BATMAN MAQUETTES by corysmithart
Here is most of the Batman animated Series cast that I have completed so far...this is my set, and as you can see, even I don't have a full set :). I think Bane, Ivy and Batgirl are missing from this photo shoot...They're completed, just not painted yet....no rest for the wicked!!!

And Robin.. I can't tell if the green guy is Killer Croc, I'm guessing it is. What about Grundy? ;o

:) well they were for sale, but most are sold out now, I only made 30 of each, and they are pretty pricey...a full Batman set would have run ya about $15,000.00. Harleys cost $500.00

Well, my Nightwing is in scale to my 14.5 Batman, so It might be as tall as the WB Batman, which might look weird. I haven't done a Robin yet or finished the Baby Doll...the rest are all done

Thanks! funny thing is when i started making these i didn't even know how to sculpt! I just stated on Mr. Freeze 1st and went from there...but, let me tell ya, it was pretty difficult, since I had no idea what I was doin. But now, 11 years later and some 23 statues, it's not so hard...just time consumin! :)

Well, you make it look effortless :) we've actually spoken before through e-mail because I loved your site so much and I collect Catwoman memrobilia. I think you did a superb job with them all. I think you'd make a bomb if you came to the clubhouse and cast some of these. I am literally in love with the Catwoman piece - it's purrrrfect!

Ohhh, It's not effortless!!! It just has become easier the more of em I do...I now have a system, but thank you! I just sold my copy of her signed by Bruce Timm at the Wizard Chicago show for $1,000.00 but I think I have a cast or 2 of her in the basement, they werre cast before the molds went bad so I could cannibalize her and make other female characters.

On a happier note, love your rendition of the characters. :) I believe I commented before on the Penguin piece, but I think you captured all the characters quite well. :)
